District Names Principal at Lindbergh Elementary for 2020-21 School Year

(March 5, 2020) A northwest Missouri educator will return to the St. Joseph School District, joining the Lindbergh Elementary School community as principal for the 2020-21 school year.

Aimee Addington, principal at Amazonia Elementary School, has been selected for the role. Her career in education began more than 20 years ago. She taught at the School of the Osage in Lake Ozark, Missouri and several other districts, including the SJSD, until 2007 when she joined the Savannah School District.

Addington has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Missouri Western State University, a master’s degree in education from the University of Missouri Kansas City, a specialist degree in from William Woods University, certification in elementary administration from William Woods, and she is currently working on a doctorate in education leadership.

Addington will remain with Amazonia Elementary School until the end of this school year. She will replace Lindbergh’s current principal, Leah Richardson, who was recently named assistant principal at Webster Learning Center. Richardson will move into that role for the 2020-21 school year.
