District Gathers Feedback through Student Advisory Council

(December 4, 2018) Student feedback is a valuable tool for improving our schools.

On Tuesday, a group of students from Lafayette High School joined Dr. Doug Van Zyl, SJSD superintendent, before school for their first Student Advisory Council to the Superintendent meeting.

The group is made up of students in grades 9-12 who will meet on a regular basis throughout the school year.

Students from Benton and Central will also be meeting with Dr. Van Zyl in the near future. The hope is to bring all three high school advisory groups together at some point.
