Dear members of the community,
The St. Joseph School District is making progress. We have heard the voices from our community and continue to gather feedback regarding the vision for the St. Joseph School District. We want you to be part of the process.
• What kind of district do we want?
• What does that mean in terms of support?
• What steps should be taken to close the gap between where we are and where we need to be?
The last few years have brought many challenges for the district and caused broken trust. We must focus on improving – for our children and for the continued viability of our community. We must move forward. We can’t change the past, but we have learned from it and are committed to making good decisions for the future.
While much of the focus has been on the challenges facing our district, we should also remember that many steps have been taken to build a positive future.
Many challenges still need our attention. That is what outreach is all about – we hope you will be involved. More information about opportunities to share your thoughts will be coming soon.
Together we can build a strong and successful future.
Dr. Robert Newhart
Superintendent, St. Joseph School District
