Superintendent Search Survey

The St. Joseph School District conducted a stakeholder survey from September 9–23, 2024, with 673 participants responding, to guide the search for a new superintendent. Key strengths identified include dedicated staff, strong community ties, student-focused efforts, and programs like Hillyard Technical Center. However, challenges include community perception, teacher retention, facility issues, and student behavior and attendance concerns. Stakeholders desire a superintendent who is approachable, ethical, collaborative, and committed to community engagement and staff retention.
