The St. Joseph Swarm and the St. Joseph School District have reached an agreement that will allow the minor league football team to play their 2023 home games at the three SJSD high school stadiums. The district will accommodate the Swarm season around district sporting events.
The team will make its first local appearance on Saturday, November 12 at 3pm at Central High School. The Swarm Football team will host the first annual St. Joseph Charities Holiday Bowl. The event will be the introduction of the St. Joseph Swarm to the community while fundraising for various St. Joseph charities in time for the holiday season.
Tickets for the game are available at the Noyes Home for Children, St. Joseph YMCA, St. Joseph Habitat for Humanity, United Way of Greater St. Joseph, and St. Joseph museums.
As members of the Heartland Football Association, the Swarm football season runs from late April through mid-July and have an expected schedule release in early February.
