Elementary and Middle School
The district is proud to offer Summer Journey, a FREE, fun, and engaging summer school program, to your children this summer. Offering up to 24 days of academic programming, Summer Journey is designed to provide students with hands-on and project-based curriculum that reduces summer learning loss.

May 31 thru June 30 (no school June 19)
Elementary School: 8:15 to 2:45
Middle School: 7:45 to 2:15

High School Extended Learning and Recovery
The St. Joseph School District through the SJSD Virtual Academy is proud to offer district students additional learning opportunities during the summer.
High school students are eligible to enroll in Extended Learning courses as well as Credit Recovery courses.
Extended Learning courses allow students to earn additional credits beyond the school year.
Credit Recovery courses allow students to recover credits from required courses they failed during the regular school year.

Important Dates:
- Summer School Begins: May 31, 2023
- Last Date to Enroll: June 2, 2023
- Non-Participating Student Drop Date: June 7, 2023 (Extended Learning courses only)
- Summer School Ends: June 22, 2023
