St. Joseph Sports Names Scholar Athletes
This week, St. Joseph Sports, Inc., presented two $1,000 scholarships to the top St. Joseph high school male and female scholar athletes and eight $500 scholarships to the runners-up for the 2021-22 school year.
Each local high school, including LeBlond and St. Joseph Christian, selected a top male and female candidate to compete for the Scholar Athlete award. The final selection was made by St. Joseph Sports, Inc., members.
The following criteria is used when selecting candidates:
1. Scholarship – Minimum 3.0 GPA
2. Athletic Excellence
3. Citizenship / Attendance
4. Involvement in Other Activities
5. Letters of Recommendation
