(June 10, 2020) The St. Joseph School District bid farewell to two long-time Board of Education members and welcomed the newly-elected members during a special meeting on Tuesday, June 9.

The ceremonial swearing-in made it official for the recently elected Lori Witham and Rick Gilmore. They join the district's board of seven, replacing Lori Prussman and Kappy Hodges. Prussman and Hodges have served on the board since 2014.

Witham is a retired teacher. She retired from the St. Joseph School District last year. Gilmore, a St. Joseph businessman, spent time in construction and other trades.
Both Witham and Gilmore were elected in June to serve a three-year term.

The Board reorganization also took place during Tuesday’s meeting. The Board selected Tami Pasley to serve as president and Lute Atieh to serve as vice president.
