Upon the closing of Webster, she then moved to Noyes Elementary as principal. In 2011, she became the principal at Humboldt Elementary. In 2012 she was invited to the White House, where she met the President of the United States and was invited to discuss the consequences of No Child Left Behind for Title I schools with a panel led by U.S. Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan. Currently, Mrs. Adams serves as the President of the local chapter of the Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals.

Mrs. Adams feels blessed to be partnering with families, staff and children on a daily basis and lo spending time with her family. She is married to her husband Joe and they are raising three young children. She credits their love and support for allowing her to continue the work she so dearly loves. In her spare time, it is likely you will find Mrs. Adams at a sporting event as her three children keep their family very busy.

One of her favorite quotes is, “A ship in a harbor is safe, but that’s not what ships are built for.” ~John Shedd
