After the meeting, the St. Joseph Board of Education shared their appreciation of the external review from the State Auditor’s Office. Members noted that they are committed to continuous improvement, and will use the recommendations included in the report in that spirit.
“I would like to thank the State Auditor for this report," said Brad Haggard, Board President. "In the end, this will make us a better district. We are committed to making the recommendations listed tonight and look forward to the continuous improvement these audit recommendations will bring....We would like the public to know that many of these recommendations have already been put into place by the District. These corrective steps are just a beginning as we move forward, and we are already in the process of implementing new processes and procedures."
