Director of Communications
Bridget Blevins joined the SJSD team in October of 2016 after more than 17 years as a broadcast journalist. She spent time at various television stations including KQTV, KMIZ and KSHB. She began her career as a production assistant and held various positions in the industry, including audio/video production, social media management, website management and employee training.
Bridget is a graduate of Missouri Western State University. She currently serves as a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters and is part of the communications team behind St. Joseph’s “Uncommon Character” community branding effort.
Stephanie has been a Communications Specialist with the SJSD since 2013. She is the main SJSD photographer and is in charge of the ParentLink call system. She does emergency and informational phone calls to parents, works with the media, social media and the website. She writes copy for use on the website, social media and publications.
District Web Manager
Truman Middle School
Charisse began working for the SJSD in 2000 as a high school English teacher. In 2006, she began working as Coordinator of Summer Programs and Volunteer Services. The district launched a new website in 2013 and Charisse was brought in to work on the Communications Team as the Web Manager. Currently she works as the Library Media Specialist at Truman Middle School and assists each building to maintain their individual websites.
Video Production Specialist
The video productions department records a wide range of material, including plays, sporting events, choir and band concerts, awards assemblies and special events. Please call or email John Morris if you have any questions or need advice on recording your building events.
