Adult Education
The St. Joseph Adult Education & Literacy (AEL) Program is located at the Robert Keatley Center at 1202 S 28th St, St Joseph, MO 64507.

This program provides services for adults 17 and older who need their high school equivalency (HSE), English language learners, skill enhancement, and/or a path to career and college readiness skills. The AEL program has been a part of the community since 1954 when Principal Ruth Huston began the program as a service to the community.
The AEL program serves Andrew, Buchanan, Clinton, and DeKalb counties. In addition to the main location at the Keatley Center, there is a satellitte location in Cameron. The AEL program serves approximately 800 students per year through HSE (High School Equivalency) or ELL (English Language Learners) courses.
