Congratulations to our SJSD music programs for their outstanding accomplishments this year!
The Lafayette High School Concert Band received a “I” rating (highest rating) in the MSHAA’s state large ensemble contest for the first time in 20 years! This is a great accomplishment based on the hard work of foundational work the teachers have built over the years. Congratulations to the LHS Concert Band and Director Joseph Schreimann.
Benton High School Orchestra received its first “exemplary” rating since orchestra started at the school under the direction of Ms. Savanna Ritter. Exemplary is the highest rating given by judges. Way to go!
