SJSD to Offer Virtual Summer School through Launch
Screen Shot

The St. Joseph School District will not be conducting traditional summer school this year through Catapult Learning. However, the SJSD has a partnership with Launch, a virtual provider developed through Springfield Public Schools, for summer school programming for our first through eighth grade students from June 3-30. In addition, high school students will have the opportunity to take credit recovery and some credit acceleration through Launch and locally-developed virtual courses. Please see the flyer at this link from our Launch partner.

Launch classes are engaging, interactve and available for students of all learning levels. You can learn more about the below oferings online at this link:

Please complete the district enrollment form at the following link to sign up for summer school through Launch:

Please pay careful attention to the information about grade level. Students will enroll in the grade level they will be in NEXT school year. For instance, a current kindergarten student will enroll in first grade summer school coursework.

We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity! It's a good way to continue to develop skills following this unusual spring we've had with the COVID 19 closures. While we would prefer to see our students face-to-face, we are glad that we are able to offer what we think will be engaging virtual learning to keep our students learning.

Don't hesitate to reach out to your building principal if you need additional assistance.
