    $1,000 Earl Collins scholarship-  Postmark Deadline: January 15- 1 scholarship awared per 22 Divisions within the Missouri-Arkansas District.  St. Joseph Kiwanis Club will also offer a scholarship for $1000 to local winners.

    Feb. 28th -$500-$5000 Essay Contest for Alzheimer's Foundation of America www.alzfdn.org

    March 1st- United Electric Cooperation Scholarships- Must be members or dependent children of the United Electric Cooperation or United Electric Fiber.  Two letters of recommendation and a 600 word essay required. (2 available- 1 for United Electric customers & 1 for United Fiber customers)

    March 30th- St. Joseph National Education Association Scholarship- Only for students graduating from Benton, Central, or Lafayette. Due March 30th!

    National Technical Honor Society- There are many different types of scholarships available with your membership.  See https://nths.org/scholarships/ for the most up to date list.  There most popular scholarship, Jon H. Poteat, is due April 20th.

    *NEW ADDITION*

    June 15th- Career & Technical Scholarship

    • Eligibility Criteria:

      • Have completed high school (or earned a high school equivalency credential)

      • Will be enrolled in eligible program in Fall 2018

      • Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a career or technical program (up to 2 years) at an accredited non-profit post-secondary institution in the United States

      • Demonstrated critical financial need (must be eligible to receive the Federal Pell grant as determined by completion of the FAFSA)

      • Demonstrated perseverance in overcoming adversity

      • Be under the age of 30

      • Be a United States citizen
