SJSD Ensembles Receive Outstanding Rating

  The St. Joseph School District had two ensembles who recently did well at the "Music In The Parks Festival" at Six Flags in St. Louis this past weekend.  The Chamber Choir from Benton High School placed first in the Mixed Choir division with a Superior Rating and a score of 97.5 out of 100.  Amber Welter is the choir director at Benton High School.  Also from the St. Joseph School District, the SJSD String Orchestra received the highest compiled score and the honor of "Most Outstanding Orchestra".  Erick Theno is the string orchestra director for the St. Joseph School District High School Orchestra.
