![]() Principal: | Mrs. Gilpin has been in education for 21 years. She came to the St. Joseph School District in 1993 as a P.E./Health teacher at Spring Garden Middle School. She also coached basketball and track at Spring Garden, and varsity volleyball and varsity assistant basketball at Benton High school during that time. In 1999, she became assistant principal at Robidoux Middle School. Two years later, she was the assistant principal at Truman Middle School in 2001. The following year in 2002, she became principal of Spring Garden Middle School. She has received a Bachelor's, Master's, and Specialist Degree from Northwest Missouri State University. She is currently working on her doctorate, and is ABD at Baker University. |
![]() Assistant Principal: Mr. Brian Hansen | Mr. Hansen began his career in the St. Joseph School District in 2011 as the Assistant Principal of Spring Garden Middle School. Prior to coming to St. Joseph, he taught History at La Vista Junior High in Nebraska for 11 years. He also was the Head Varsity Boys Cross Country and Assistant Varsity Girls Track Coach. Mr. Hansen received a Bachelor's Degree from Buena Vista University, and Master's Degree From the University of Nebraska-Omaha. |
![]() | Mrs. Bokay began her career in the St. Joseph School District 14 years ago. She worked in food service for her first year and a half. Then she served 6 years as building secretary for Robidoux Middle School. In 2005, she came to Spring Garden Middle School where she currently is the building secretary. |
