Practice Safety: Walk, don't run, in the library. Use the seating provided for reading in the library.
Accept Responsibility: Student obeys all library rules. Return your library books on time. If a book is lost or damaged, the student will pay for replacement of the book and will not be able to check out until this is done. Take care of Coleman's library books, too.
Work Hard: Always use a shelf marker so that you don't put books back on the shelf in the wrong place. Use library time effectively - browse quietly, check out quickly, sit and read quietly until it is time to return to class.
Show Respect: Use a quiet voice in the library. Wait single file to be assisted by the librarian. Have good manners at all times. Show courtesy and respect for the library volunteers.
Kindergarten students are allowed to check out one book per visit. Grades 1 - 6 are allowed two books per visit. For special projects, students may be allowed to check out additional books as needed.
