Extra Help/Tutoring

I want every student to be successful in this course. I will make myself available before and after school whenever possible. However, students must make arrangements with me ahead of time so I may plan ahead. Any student needing extra help in class is welcome in class anytime.

Make Up Work Policy

Students are responsible for all makeup work. Students can check with me regarding any missing work from any days missed.   As a rule, students will have ONE DAY to make up assignments for each day that is missed. If the work is not handed in on time, then full credit will not be given. There will be a 10% deduction from your score for each day that an assignment is late. DO NOT assume that all assignments may be sent home, due to the fact that a computer may be needed to complete an assignment.

Discipline Plan

1.              Warning

2.              15 minute detention – before or after school

3.              30 minute detention – before or after school

Cheating

Cheating will NOT be tolerated in class. Any student who is caught cheating on ANY assignment will receive a zero for that assignment and will not be able to make up the points. Students are accountable for their own work.

Grades/Late Work

  1. Grades will be calculated based on total points.
  2. Assignments 1 day late will receive a 10% deduction; 2 days late will receive a 20% deduction. The district grade scale will be used.
